01
Do you photograph founders, entrepreneurs and CEOs?
Yes. Founders, entrepreneurs, CEOs, executive directors and board chairs, whether the company is new or the role is. The session starts with the clean headshot and then opens up for the annual report, the website, the stage and the press.
02
Do you photograph speakers and authors?
Yes. The author photo for the jacket and the publisher, the speaker kit and the screen behind you on stage, the headshot the event program asks for. Some of the sessions on this page were for a book coming out. It’s the same session, planned around where each picture will run.
03
Do you photograph political candidates and campaigns?
Yes. Candidates, elected officials and campaigns of every kind, political or not. It’s the same session, planned around where the pictures will run: the website, the press kit, print and signage, for as long as the campaign lasts.
04
How is this different from a business headshot?
It’s the same session, taken further. The clean headshot comes first, and then the frame opens up: seated, standing, a second backdrop, the light turned down. The conversation beforehand is about how you need to be seen in the role, and the wardrobe and posing follow from that.
05
Should I keep my glasses on?
Whatever looks like you day to day. If glasses are part of how people recognize you, keep them on.
06
Do I need more than one look?
Most people at this level take a couple: one for the board page or the firm bio, another for the conference profile or the press.
07
What should I wear?
Whatever you’d wear in the room where you’re taken seriously. Tie, watch and fit get talked through as part of the session.
08
How long does it take, and when do I get the photos?
Anywhere from about thirty minutes to ninety, depending on how many looks, and turnaround is fast for board bios, firm websites and press. Get in touch for the current timing.
